Coming Soon! The WVC Group Online Singing Lessons Program (ages 9–12) will be available at the beginning of the year 2026, giving kids the chance to explore and connect their voices, grow in confidence, and learn fun, creative vocal methods with proven results — all while celebrating their individuality.
Hi there, and welcome to the upcoming Group Online Singing Lessons Program for Kids Ages 9-12 years! I’m Nyla Cione, voice coach and mentor, and soon I’ll be guiding our young singers in a fun, caring, and exploratory virtual space —where kids want to discover their voice and expand their abilities.
Wilmington Voice Coach is an all-inclusive online voice studio where every voice is valued, and singers of all backgrounds and expressions are celebrated.
My approach combines effective, easy-to-understand training methods, beginning with Estill Voice Training®—a science-based method trusted worldwide—along with the open-throat tradition of bel canto and the ease of speech-level singing. By blending these approaches across all styles of music, I help young singers develop an authentic, connected voice that is truly their own.
Weekly Classes (45 minutes): Small groups of no more than four students per class.
-Planned Progress: New songs, exercises, and resources each month keep kids excited and engaged.
-Tuition & Membership: $133/month for weekly 45-minute classes. Includes a free Practice Program. No extra charge for months with 5 classes.
-Enrollment: There's never an enrollment fee at WVC. You'll have an online sign-up sheet to fill out, and you'll be given the opportunity to request the class day and time that is available for openings. Enroll anytime to secure your child's spot for the next start date.
-Membership: Month-to-month commitment. See our policies below for details on cancellations, pausing, and returns.
Affordable & Effective: Professional training at an affordable price, small classes for more personalized attention for each student, giving the same guaranteed results as our private lessons.
Confidence in Community: Kids grow and discover their individuality in singing with supportive peers in an inclusive, fun, encouraging space.
Convenient & Cost-Saving: Online lessons mean no travel time or gas expenses — just log in and sing. Kids learn faster and more easily when they’re comfortable in their own environment, leading to even better, rapid results. Check out our testimonials about students' online experience.
Professional Setup: Classes run through Zoom with professional audio settings, so kids can hear and be heard clearly. Learn more here about how online lessons will work.
In our Online Group Singing Lessons, kids don’t just sing songs—they discover how their voice works and grow in confidence with every class, with exceptional vocal methods and techniques that are fun, engaging, and encourage breakthroughs.
Breathing for Singing
The voice is a wind instrument, and breath is what can be thought of as the "feet" of the voice. Students will learn fun, powerful grounding breathing exercises and tools so their voice feels steady and relaxed, and singing never feels strained.
Kid-Friendly Technique
We use simple, playful tools from Estill Voice Training®, bel canto, and speech-level singing so kids can safely explore and enjoy their unique voice in any style.
Creativity & Fun
Lessons are interactive and engaging — combining warm-ups, different fun vocal sounds, and songs that keep kids motivated while building real technique.
Growth & Developmental Oriented Skills
By starting young, kids form healthy habits, build lasting confidence and connection with their voice, setting a strong foundation for future growth in singing, speaking, and self-expression.
At Wilmington Voice Coach, my goal is to make every family feel supported and at ease. These guidelines are simply here to keep things clear and consistent, so each singer can enjoy a smooth, uplifting experience and focus entirely on the joy of learning and growing.
Refunds & Cancellations
Before classes begin: If your plans change, it's helpful to have a minimum of a 48-hour notice before the first class to receive a refund.
After classes begin:
Tuition is non-refundable for the remainder of the month. However, if you need to discontinue classes, it helps to have a 48-hour notice so I can avoid charging you for the upcoming month. I do encourage my young singers to complete the full four lessons to aid in their decision-making process.
If you choose not to continue after your month, your child will still keep lifetime access to the Practice Program—a gift to support ongoing growth.
Pausing & Returning
If you need to pause your enrollment, there’s no problem at all. When you’re ready to return, just contact me and we’ll check which group spots are available at that time.
Commitment to Growth
My goal is to nurture a space where every singer feels encouraged, supported, and free to explore their voice with confidence. These guidelines are simply here to keep our time together smooth and consistent, so each child can relax, feel included, and truly enjoy the process of learning.
Most of all, I want every singer to walk away from class feeling uplifted, inspired, and excited about the progress they’re making week by week.
Q: How is this different from private online lessons?
Private online lessons are one-on-one and personalized, but group lessons give kids a chance to learn together in a welcoming community, developing skills at a more affordable price point — while still following the same proven vocal methods used in private one-on-one lessons.
Q: What if my child is shy?
That’s okay! Many students start by observing their new environment. The group environment is supportive, fun, welcoming, and inspiring, and kids can participate at their own pace until they feel comfortable.
Q: What do I need for online lessons?
Preferably a computer or tablet with Zoom installed, stable wifi to stream Zoom, and a quiet, private space. Everything else is provided. Click here for more info.
Q: What if we need to stop?
No problem — the membership is month-to-month, just give me a 48-hour notice before the next month's charge.
