Hi there, and welcome to the upcoming Group Online Singing Lessons Program for Kids Ages 9-12 years! I’m Nyla Cione, voice coach and mentor, and soon I’ll be guiding our young singers in a fun, caring, and exploratory virtual space — where kids want to discover their voices and expand their abilities.
Wilmington Voice Coach is an all-inclusive online voice studio where every voice is valued, and singers of all backgrounds and expressions are celebrated.
My approach uses simple, fun, science-informed, easy-to-understand methods that help kids feel confident with their voices. Lessons draw from Estill Voice Training principles—a science-based approach to healthy singing—along with the open-throat and breathing foundation of Bel Canto and the natural ease of Speech Level Singing. By blending these approaches across all styles of music, I help young singers find their own unique, connected sound and learn to love using their voice.
At A Glance For Our Group Online Singing Lessons
Weekly Classes (45 minutes): Small groups of no more than four students per class.
-Planned Progress: New songs, exercises, and resources each month keep kids excited and engaged.
-Tuition & Membership: $133/month for weekly 45-minute classes. Includes a free Practice Program. No extra charge for months with 5 classes.
-Enrollment: There's never an enrollment fee at WVC. You'll have an online sign-up sheet to fill out, and you'll be given the opportunity to request the class day and time that is available for openings. Enroll anytime to secure your child's spot for the next start date.

In our Online Beginner Group Singing Lessons, kids don't just sing songs—they discover how their voices work and grow in confidence with every class, through exceptional science-informed vocal methods and techniques that are fun, engaging, and encourage breakthroughs.
Breathing for Singing
The voice is a wind instrument, and breath is what can be thought of as the "feet" of the voice. Students will learn fun, engaging, grounding breathing techniques and exercises so their voice feels steady and relaxed, and singing never feels strained.
Kid-Friendly Technique
We use simple, playful tools inspired by Estill Voice Training principles, Bel Canto breathing and open-throat techniques, and Speech Level Singing, so kids can safely explore and enjoy their unique voice in any style.

Guidelines to Keep Learning Smooth and Stress-Free
At Wilmington Voice Coach, my goal is to make every family feel supported and at ease. These guidelines are here simply to keep our time together smooth and consistent, so each child can relax, feel included, and truly enjoy the learning process.
Refunds & Cancellations
Before classes begin: If your plans change and you have already paid for the month, please give at least 48 hours' notice before the first class to receive a full refund.
After classes begin:
Tuition is non-refundable for the remainder of the month. However, if you need to discontinue classes, providing 48 hours' notice allows me to make the necessary system changes to avoid charging you for the upcoming month.
I encourage my young singers to complete all four lessons to aid their decision-making.
Our Promise of Support: After completing the classes, your child will retain lifetime access to the Practice Program—a gift that supports ongoing growth.
Pausing & Returning
If you need to pause your enrollment, that's no problem. Provide 48 hours' notice to waive any future charges. When you're ready to return, just contact me, and we'll check which group spots are available at that time.

That's okay! In fact, this opportunity is a perfect way to help shy students feel included. The group environment is supportive, fun, welcoming, and inspiring, and kids can participate at their own pace as they become more comfortable in the group.
Q: What do I need for online lessons?
Preferably, a computer or tablet/iPad with Zoom installed, a stable Wi-Fi connection for Zoom streaming, and a quiet, private space. Everything else is provided. Click here for more info.
